connections ~ lollypop photography ~ Bendigo family photographer

I love to capture the connections between families ~ the natural interaction between mother and daughter, between father and son, daddy and his little girl and mummy and her baby boy. Kissing and cuddling and feeling the love a parent has for their children. This is what I want a photograph to show and not just to see, but also to feel. I can feel the love between this family by looking at these photos.

a cricketing family ~ lollypop photography ~ Bendigo family photographer

This family love cricket so we decided to take some photos at their local cricket ground. The boys were keen to show me their batting skills and I can tell you they were pretty good!

april ~ lollypop photography ~ Bendigo newborn photographer

I am often asked what newborn lifestyle photography is. To me, it’s natural photographs of your newborn in their own home with their family. I love those gorgeous curly shots of tiny babies in baskets but it’s just not my style. I prefer to capture the interaction between mum and dad and their new baby like I’m peeking in on their new life together. I love to include baby’s toys, their blankets, their clothing and in this case, their pets too, as they are just as much a part of the family as the new baby. Lifestyle newborn photography is about keeping it real and natural whilst still capturing those family moments and fleeting newborn features.

happy easter ~ lollypop photography ~ Bendigo photographer

Little Eliza was not too sure about those chickens or about sitting in a nest but she did eventually warm to the idea. A big thank you to Em and Harley for lending me some chicks and chasing them around at our session and thank you to my gorgeous little model Eliza for being so cute! Wishing you a fun filled easter with a tummy full of chocolate  :)  Yummo!!

This session was a combination of the from the heart sessions and just for me sessions. My creative ideas coming to life blending with past clients to create a something special.
