I often photograph families with four children and wonder how their parents manage! I have two little girls and they keep me busy enough and I can’t imagine keeping up with four little ones. Every time I photograph larger families they seem to be the easiest sessions as this family was no exception. There was lots of fun, lots of love and lots of laughs. Meet Thomas, Oliver, Ella and Harry and their Mum and Dad ~ such a beautiful family.

Last week on facebook I asked for some past clients to model for me for a mentoring session I was doing. I was overwhelmed with the amount of emails I received and it was so difficult to choose just two families. I felt awful that I could not include all my beautiful clients who had generously offered their time and this got me thinking. I love my job and I feel so very grateful that I am able to earn a living doing what I love and it it is all because of my wonderful clients who trust me to capture their children’s personalities and the love in their lives. So I have decided that I would like to give something back to all of you that have supported me. Each month one family will win a free half hour mini session including 10 images on disc, no strings attached. It is my gift to you to show my appreciation. I am hoping that this will be an ongoing idea and will continue each month. It will be facebook based and all you need to do is place your name in the comments once I post and the winner will be chosen at random. So sweet and precious is family life and this family were bursting with love! Our evening was full of cuddles and tickles, playing and exploring and most of all and lots of fun and the end result is beautiful and natural photos for this family to cherish.

In the last blog post you would have seen Eliza’s birth photos. Here she is at 12 days old and oh my, she’s so adorable! In only 12 days she had already changed since the day of her birth and it was wonderful to photograph her at home with her loving family. She even gave me a smile! I have photographed this family many times and I love watching them grow and I am looking forward to watching Eliza grow up.

It was an honour to photograph such a special day in this families lives ~ the birth of their beautiful baby girl Eliza. As it was a caesar I was not able to capture the “actual” birth but it was amazing to see the emotion beforehand and capture the first few moments of Eliza’s life. Congratulations Emma and Shane and also big brother Paddy and big sister Amelia. You’re little girl is gorgeous! Thank you for allowing me to document your special day and I look forward to seeing her grow up.

I am really loving watching this little girl grow. I first photographed her at 10 days old and then again at 3 months and here she is at 9 months old. It is amazing how much babies change in their first year of life. Each time I see Emma she is doing something new and reaching a different stage. I am sure that next time I see her she will be walking!
