full of joy ~ lollypop photography ~ Bendigo children’s photographer

Every time I photograph this little girl she is so full of joy and smiles, in fact, photos without smiles are hard to achieve! I love the variety we achieved in this winter mini session and in just half an hour! We even managed a clothing change and different hairstyle. Way to go mum!!

Still catching up on my blog posts from the winter mini sessions. These sisters travelled from St Arnaud for their session.

travelling ~ lollypop photography ~ airlie beach photographer

I frequently travel around Victoria photographing families in their home town and sometimes interstate. Last month I was lucky enough to be invited to Airlie Beach in Queensland to photography this beautiful family. If you would like me to come to you, just ask! I love that my job takes me to new and exciting places.

new arrival ~ lollypop photography ~ Bendigo newborn photographer

My style of newborn photography is often referred to as “lifestyle”. Capturing the new addition to the family in there own home, in their own space, with things around them that are personal to them and where the family feels most comfortable. Photos they will look back on and remember the little details like the cradle next to the bed or that special blanket that Grandma knitted for the new baby. Studio shots are gorgeous, however I much prefer to photograph newborns in their own home. It’s also much easier on the family not having to pack up travel to a studio, feeling comfortable feeding in their own home and also not having to worry about being organised as it’s such a busy time in those first few weeks. Siblings can be happy playing with their toys and then joining in when needed. Here’s how a lifestyle newborn session looks.
