Last time I travelled to Elmore to photograph Rose as a baby and this time she was a big sister to sweet little Luella. Gosh I love my job!

Paula from Photos by Miss P came all the way from Mackay for a one on one mentoring session. We started off with a lifestyle baby session in the morning followed by lunch and continual chatter. In the afternoon we covered editing and marketing and late afternoon headed out for a styled boys session followed by a family session. Our day was very busy! Here’s what Paula had to say about our day together:
“Thank you so much Alison for sharing all your tips, tricks, skills, enthusiasm and passion for photography with me on our mentoring day. I cannot even begin to tell you how valuable the experience has been. I really feel so confident and inspired with all the new skills you have taught me! Thank you for the opportunity and for really listening to what I wanted to learn and giving me the tools to take my photography to the next level” – Paula, Photos by MissP

and some editing:

Making your photography session all about who you are as a family makes your photos so much more personal. It might be that your session is at your home or on your property but for this family it was about bringing pieces from home to a beautiful location. This family love colour and after visiting their home before the session I was able to really able to get a feel for their style. As a result, their photos reflect their family beautifully. It’s also really nice when you just click with clients ~ Kara, looking forward to catching up for a coffee soon!

Kerri drove over from Ballarat for her beautiful bump session. I was expecting silvery green foliage when we turned up at the location but we were surprised with gorgeous golden autumn leaves. I love that Kerri will be able to look at these photos in years to come and remember that she was pregnant with her first baby in autumn. I’m looking forward to meeting this little one very soon.
