farmyard fun ~ lollypop photography ~ Bendigo family photographer

This beautiful family from Queensland were in Bendigo for a week and took home some wonderful memories of their holiday. They chose this location as they wanted their photos to represent their time in Bendigo and what better way than to visit a cherry farm (although the cherries had only just finished). Jessie and James had not even seen a rabbit let alone held one so I brought Crystal and Blackberry along. They also held some chickens, sat on a tractor, explored the farm and had lots of fun! Not only is this a great place for photos but you can also buying the best honey in town here along with fresh fruit and vegies so pop out and see Zac at 11 Irwin Lane, Kangaroo Flat. If you would like to have photos taken here Zac is more than happy to let us wander around his property.

photo a day project ~ lollypop photography ~ Bendigo family photographer

So I failed dismally at the January photo a day project. I made it to day 22 so I guess I documented two thirds of the month! Oh well. I have decided to document “the everyday” at my own pace and capture those little moments when I see them so I’ll be sharing some of those here now and then. But until then here’s the last of the January photos.

Day 22 ~ The girls watching young talent time. I used to love this tv show when I was young and I’m so glad that it’s back, new and updated of course. It’s going to be our Sunday evening thing to do together from now on.

Day 21 ~ Sunflower

Day 20 ~ Riding bikes at the park

Day 19 ~ Meg taking Crystal outside to explore

Day 18 ~ Soft and sweet

With new life, comes new love …

Day 17 ~ The girls friend came to our house for a sleepover and they decided they wanted to sleep in a tent outside. We compromised, they slept in the tent but in Jayde’s bedroom instead. They thought it was great! I took this photo with the lamp on and a super low shutter speed and high iso using the tripod with a fisheye lens.

Day 16 ~ Jayde loves to put make up on and look pretty …

Day 15 ~ The girls have been playing so nicely this school holidays. Only ten more days and Meg will be a little preppie!

Day 14 ~ Meg in her bedroom.

outdoor bubble bath ~ lollypop photography ~ Bendigo children’s photographer

This was a “just for me” session. A time for me to be creative, to try out new ideas and to just have fun. I found this old tin tub at my favourite little shop and I knew it would be perfect. My little model Mileya was also perfect in every way. She’s the most gorgeous little thing and luckily loved having a bath out in the middle of a paddock! The evening light was beautiful and it was a scorching hot day so perfect timing for an outdoor bubble bath. We had so much fun and I love these photos ~ so soft and simple. If you would like some photos of your baby having a bubble bath now is the time to book as the weather is perfect!
